About
Alex Harshaw’s career has developed at the intersection of languages and law. After obtaining a First-Class BA in French and Spanish and completing an MA in Interpreting & Translating at the University of Bath, he moved to Spain and began working in-house as a translator and reviser, increasingly specialising in complex legal and financial content.
Since establishing JAH Translation in 2016, he has worked with law firms, financial institutions and international organisations on specialist legal language projects across jurisdictions and legal systems.
That experience ultimately led to a PGDL completed with Distinction, bringing formal legal training to more than 14 years of specialist legal-linguistic experience.
